His timbre changed a bit from spring to fall--more sour in the fall, or more complex if you prefer. Personally, I find the spring tone too sweet for words, but I have no quarrel with fall either. BTW, the summer JGB shows presage the transition, being somewhere in between. Check out the Pure Jerry, Theatre 1839 release from July, for example.

his tone underwent a big change when he switched from his tb-500 to the new Wolf
